Hey guys! I'm literally about to go to work so this is going to be really brief. Sorry for not blogging much, hopefully I'll get back into it more when the nights start to draw out!

Weekend OOTD

Hey! I took these blog photos at the weekend but I've been too busy to actually post them. I hope you're all having a good week :)

Coat, Primark £23
Scarf, Dents
Bag, Primark - £6?
Boots, c/o Style Edit

Last week I was sent this amazing jumper from Another8 and I swear I've hardly taken it off since. I love anything over sized, I'm not often one to wear tight fitting things so this jumper is perrrrrf and I love the turtle neck too - bang on!!

Although you can't see it, I am wearing a skirt underneath and didn't just go out wearing a jumper and tights haha. I thought I'd clash a couple of patterns as I always think that's a good way to add interest to a simple outfit, I'm quite a fan of dogtooth and leopard print together too so there ya have it.

Boots are black, always luv them. That's it I think!

If any of you have been at LFW I hope you've been having a lovely time, I'm so jealous!
 Bye bye bye xxxxxxxxxxxx

Sensationail

Hi guys! This is a bit of a different post for me but I hope it's something you all enjoy reading :)
I was lucky enough to be sent a gel starter kit from Sensationail to review and I absolutely love it. In my job having nice nails is something of a fantasy, I'm always breaking nails and regular nail polish never lasts me more than a day which is a nightmare! If you're in a similar situation to me, or you just want a nail colour that will last then this kit will honestly change your life.

I was sent the pink chiffon gel starter kit and I really love the colour but there are plenty of other colours to choose from if you're not into pink!

I found the directions really simple to follow and can I just throw in that the nail file that comes with this set is incredible. I'd say I allowed myself an hour to do my gel nails but I suppose the more frequently you do them the quicker you will get.

I used the kit on Saturday morning and we're now on Monday evening and there is not a single chip on any of my nails, they have a salon quality to them but for a fraction of the price. You can pay around £25 for gel nails in a salon and this kit costs just £69.99 so you only have to use it a few times to make your moneys worth which is great.

I've had a nose on the website and there are so many lovely colours that I'll be investing in. I particularly love the look of 'Call Me Violet' 'Going For The Rose Gold' and 'Midnight Magic' (which is currently out of stock but I can't wait to get my hands on it). If you're thinking of buying a gel kit I really recommend this one, I think it's pretty fantastic!

I hope you liked this review, if you'd like to see more beauty related posts on my blog please let me know and I'll be sure to post some more :)

so dotttttttty / OOTD

Hey lovely gorgeous people! I'm so overwhelmed to still be receiving so many lovely comments about 'The Truth About Blogging' and it really means a lot to me that so many of you are saying I can't stop blogging lalala! To feel appreciated even if it's just by one person who is inspired by what you wear honestly makes it worth it, your comments are so kind. I keep meaning to reply to you all but your comments are long and my replies will probably be even longer so I'm just putting out there that if any of you want to chat about it because you're in a rut with blogging or whatever then please feel free to just drop me an email, I'd love to chat with you all :)

Here's an OOTD for ya xxx

Blouse, River Island - (Alternative)

This is pretty colourful for me, huh? haha, I really love this 'apricot' coat, I'm a big fan of huge collars as I think they look fabulous and they're easy enough to style! I styled it with almost all black, because well u'knw I love black. These ripped jeans are so great but I think when buying you need to size up as they're a bit tight (which is fine though cause I am planning on losing a bit of weight). I've had this polka dot blouse for years and it's just one of those items that keeps coming back into fashion; I've seen a lot of polka dots around recently so I thought ay why not, I'll give it a whirl!

I then added my fav booties from Style Edit and my leather gloves which were a gift last Christmas but I know you can buy them pretty much anywhere - I'm pretty sure mine are M&S.

I need to get ready for work so I'll have to leave this post short, but I hope you all have a lovely week :)

Feelin' 22 (Wiv Missguided) xo

Hi guys! After last weeks post 'The Truth About Blogging' I had such a huge response from so many of you that feel exactly the same. In some ways I was glad to not feel so alone in this huge world of blogging but at the same time I just thought, how sad is it that so many bloggers are feeling like this when you all have amazing blogs.

I prefer smaller bloggers because I find we're more honest with our style and we don't just wear something to keep the company happy. I love it when I find a new blogger and think wow she's different, even if it's the way you take your pictures, the way you write or the way you wear your clothes - it's so lovely and refreshing to see something unique that isn't copying a bigger blogger. Of course there are successful bloggers that I love, I've ALWAYS adored Kavita from She Wears Fashion, she is like my ultimate fav, I'm also a fan of Amy from The Little Magpie who is very weird and wonderful haha and Rumi from Fashion Toast who is just so bloody flawless, but these are all girls who have incredible style and who have also been blogging for years and years, they're always going to be more appealing to me than the 'insta famous' ones (I don't need to name names, I'm sure we'll all have certain people in mind).

Anyway, on with the post because this laptop is about to die haha

I was kindly sent these items from Missguided for my birthday OOTN and I love it all! This jumper is so x-rated though, I didn't wear a bra so apologies if you can see a bit of nip haha - I wore it out last night and my friends were all on nip watch. This snakey skirt is so beaut too, obviously I love black so it's a very welcome addition to my wardrobe. The shoesies are incredible as well but I didn't risk wearing them last night because I thought I might break one of my kankles ahaha, that as well as the nip exposure would have been too much in one night!

I had a really good birthday night out, I'm feeling it today though! I think I'll go grab some food in a minute and then take a nap and feel fabulous. Over and out honeys xxxxx

The Truth About Blogging...

Okay so I know I haven't blogged in a while and to be honest I was thinking of stopping blogging all together. If you've followed my blog from the start then you'll know I've been blogging about 2 and a half years which is a long time to stay so committed to something. When I began blogging it wasn't a huge thing that everybody did to get free clothes, I personally did it for a few reasons:
1. To improve my CV
2. To inspire people
3. Because I enjoyed it

Now it seems so many people have started blogging for all the wrong reasons and if I'm completely honest that's made me want to step away as I really don't want to be put in the same category as some of these girls. I've found that I compare myself and my blog to other bloggers who have a lot more free time and a lot more money than I do which has made me very critical about myself and I hate that. I hate that something I used to do for fun has become this huge competition with other bloggers, don't get me wrong I've met some really lovely bloggers who are very supportive of other girls but you also get the not so nice ones who are in it for themselves and have no intention of supporting fellow bloggers.

Instagram in some ways has ruined blogging, girls will get 'instafamous' and then call themselves bloggers to get freebies and I find myself wondering whether they ever even wanted a career in fashion or if they just jumped on the bandwagon.

I took a bit of time out and I asked myself whether I still enjoy it and while I'm still doing it, the answer was no I don't enjoy it and I have no idea why I'm doing it. I've spoken to a few of my blogger friends about this and I was surprised to hear that some of them feel exactly the same way as I do which was a relief in a way because they're all great so it's good to know I'm not the only one who feels this huge pressure from blogging now. I used to love talking about blogging too but now if people ask me I just try and change the subject which is actually kind of sad as it's something I used to enjoy so much.

After all this  have decided not to give up completely but to make it less of a priority in my life because I have other things I want to concentrate on. I've always loved fashion and I want blogging to become something I enjoy again so I'm going to blog for me, not to gain followers or to try and keep up with other bloggers. I've had a few new bloggers email me recently asking on advice when starting a blog and all I can say is not to take yourself too seriously and not to get disheartened when you don't gain followers or have companies interested in working with you. Just be you, don't pretend to be anyone your not and don't change yourself, if you change yourself for blogging you need to ask yourself if it's really worth it.

I thought if I was going to bore you with all that chat I should probably put an actual blog post together for you guys to check out as well, so here it is..

Skirt, Missguided
Shoes, ikrush

So when I was getting the link for this Milano jumper I realised it's actually a dress which is kind of awkward because I must be too fat for it haha! I really love this jumper/dress but I'd advise sizing up! You can also buy it in white which is really cute too but black is my fav!

This coat from She inside is also something else I'd advise sizing up with and the reason I say that is because I like my clothes to be over sized and this is quite a fitted coat so I would have preferred it to be bigger for sure. Still luv it though and they also have loads of amazing outerwear right now for pretty cheap so check them out. The link for this coat is:
HERE

I'm feeling really chubby at the moment and generally shit about myself, I need to shed at least a stone before summer! Does anyone have any tips for finding the motivation to lose weight or any exercise routines you do? Hearing what you all do to stay motivated will hopefully help me find the will power to do it myself!

Sorry this has been a bit of s moany post, I really appreciate anyone who actually takes the time to read and comment, that's what makes it worth it :)

Double Denim

Hi guys! Christmas season is officially over now but we still have a minimum of 2 miserable months left of winter to enjoy (I hate it so much I might cry). I think now is the time to get crackin' on my summer bod; here's to eating healthy and maybe introducing a little exercise to my life hahaha oh why can't carbs make you thin pls?

Clutch Bag, c/o Missguided

I'm actually quite a fan of double denim at the moment, what are your opinions?

I styled my double denim look with my cream coat from H&M which I adore,I'm always so scared to wear it though in case I get it dirty! I added black accessories because no outfit is complete withought a bit of black right? Haha

Have a good week guys xxxxx
