Feelin' Stripey

Hey dolls, basically I'm really upset because we had to use my rubbish camera for this blog post rather than my sisters SLR, so the quality of the photos isn't great!! Hope you're all okay though :)

I was so pleased when the lovely people at Maxstar sent me these amazing trainers, they're so cool and I've been looking for trainers like this for ages!!!! Their prices are so reasonable too, you can buy these Maxstar trainers for only £26.57, so if I were you I would snap myself up a pair right now. Click HERE for the link to the same trainers or HERE to take a look at other styles.

I'm loving Topshop at the moment, I really go through fazes with Topshop but right now they're bang on! I don't think my debit card loves Topshop quite so much though. Here are a few of my recent Topshop purchases, I love 'em all.

Ooooo also, I lost my MAC virginity on Monday and bought two lipsticks, the one I'm wearing is 'Lady Danger' x

Waiting For Spring

I'm getting so fed up of winter now, seriously, where is summer?

Levi Shorts, eBay - £15.00
Jeffrey Campbell Big Lita Lookalikes, eBay - £34.99

This blouse is so cute, you can buy it in black and white too which is just as lovely! Ted Baker's current collection is really gorgeous and girly, I love it!! I wish I could afford to buy more, I'm sure if I search the high street enough I will find decent lookalikes.

I had summer in mind when I bought these Levi's, I'm such a huge fan of denim shorts in the summer, they're so easy to just throw on and they go with everything! The seller I bought these from on eBay was amazing, I got the shorts 2 days after paying for them and they're not just your average cut offs, they have been professionally taken up. I can't guarantee the same shorts will be available but I'm sure you would be able to find some similar, check out this seller HERE.

I've decided from now on I'm going to do more summery posts whatever the weather, I'm just craving summer so bad. I hope you guys are all good, I will blog again soon sweethearts x

Shine Bright

I'm forever saying sorry for my lack of blogging, and once again I do apologise!! I do try and blog when I can but I work all week and I'm always busy at weekends so it's getting harder and harder to find the time. Here's a little outfit post for you lovely readers, I recently found a couple of bargains in a charity shop so I thought I would show you one of my purchases.

Jumper, Charity Shop - £2.99
Eugenie Shiny Disco Pants, Missguided - £25.99
Necklace, present for my birthday
Leopard Print High Top Converse, Office - £46.99

I love this jumper, can you believe it only cost me £2.99? Bargain! I vowed to myself that I would make more of an effort to shop in charity shops because I'm always so envious when I see the bargains that other people get. The thing with shopping in charity shops is that you can't guarantee you'll find anything and it can be a pain if you haven't got much time on your hands. This jumper is one of my most recent charity shop purchases and I've teamed it with my trusty Missguided Disco Pants!

You all know I'm a sucker for statement jewellery and one of my best friends bought me this necklace from Topshop as part of my birthday present and it's my new fav!

I've never been a trainer kinda girl but after buying these leopard print converse I am in love! I wear them all the time because they're so comfy, I actually want another pair now which is really weird but they're definitely the most convenient shoes I own so it's fair to say I am a fan.

Hope you're all good honey's xxxx

p.s back soon I promise x

Melt Candle Review

I was recently contacted by Melt and they asked me if I would like to do a review for them on one of their candles. I don't tend to do this sort of blog post but I do LOVE candles so I thought, why not!

They sent me a 'Verbena & Clary Sage' scented candle and it came in the cutest little box! The scent isn't at all overbearing, it's quite subtle, it has a hint of lavender in it and I'm a huge fan of the smell of lavender so it was a winning scent for me! There are so many different scents to choose from, the variety is much bigger than that of other candle companies.

I really want to try 'Rich Cream' and 'Jasmine & Tuberose' but to be honest I would have any of them! If you're a candle lover like myself I would really recommend these candles, they make a nice ornament as well as giving you a lovely smelling room.

Tartan and Leather

I'm so sorry for my lack of my blogging recently, I've been partying way too much but I'm having a sensible month this month so I'm hoping I can get back into the routine of blogging weekly! Thank you all for still reading and commenting even though I've been completely rubbish. Here is a quick blog post to get me going again, happy reading!!

Faux Leather Jacket, Forever21 - £20.00
Bandeau Top, River Island - £7?
Tartan Skirt, Missguided - £18.99
Platform Shoes, Topshop - £35.00
Necklace, Topshop - £7.00

I look so grumpy and pale in these photos, literally hate winter so much! I just want summer, I'm sure most of you are the same, winter in England is just so dull.

I wore this skirt to my staff Christmas meal about a month ago and never got round to blogging about it, I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again, but I love love love Missguided, they're so cheap and I always find things on there website that are different from anything else on the high-street.

I know it's not a particularly wintery ensemble but it's definitely the type of thing I would wear on a night out, regardless of the weather! The jacket adds a bit of warmth but I still wouldn't wear this outfit on an average winter day.

These shoes were a bargain and despite them being a size too big I still bought them, they were reduced by £20 in the Topshop sale and I love Topshop shoes so I had to get them. I also bought the Necklace in the Topshop sale which was reduced by 50% which i thought was so so good!

I think that just about covers it, sorry it's a bit of a short post, I will try to blog again very very soon x

Minty Winter

Hello my darlings. For once it actually wasn't raining for the photo's!! Hooray! I'm trying really hard to not wear all dark colour this winter because I always fall into that trap. Enjoy :-)

Jumper, H&M - £14.99
Blouse, Primark - £5.00
Necklace, H&M - £8.00(ish)
Jeffrey Campbell Big Lita Lookalikes, eBay - £34.99

As the weather conditions were pretty good today my sister managed to get a nice selection of photos. I love this jumper, I'm so happy with it! I've said before and I'll say it again, H&M have some really gorgeous things in this season and everything is such fantastic value! So for people that don't have a lot of money (like me) it's great. I also bought the jacket from there and I wear it all the time, my leather jacket is feeling a bit left out haha.

I do love my leather look trousers from River Island but they don't look very shiny in these photos and I'm after some super shiny ones! I accessorised with my lovely statement necklace from H&M, I love the colour of the gems so much!! Finally I added my trusty Big Lita lookalikes which I really do wear too much, but they're seriously so comfy!!

Tonight is the staff Christmas party for where I used to work so it's going to be a good night, and I'll do a post on the outfit next weekend! Who else has their staff party this weekend? What are you all wearing? x

A Weekend Away

Hello everyone! I spent this weekend in Amsterdam with one of my friends and it was lovely, except from the weather and the fact we kept getting lost!! But it was a spontaneous adventure which can only be a good thing. We missed our flight out there and had to be transferred onto another flight which was 5 hours later, so to kill some time I asked my friend to take a few pictures for a blog post. Unfortunately I had to use a slightly crap camera because I didn't trust myself taking  my sisters SLR to Amsterdam haha! Enjoy.

Boots, Office - £20.00
Necklace, H&M - £8.00(ish)

I have to admit the setting isn't the most beautiful, but you can blame Stansted Airport for that! I'll start with the jacket, which I absolutely love, it was such a bargain and there are other colours available too. I think it makes a nice change from a leather jacket, which all of us own!!

I chose a burgundy tee from Topshop because it was only £18 and I knew it would get a lot of wear. Oxblood is a popular colour at the moment so I thought this would be a cheap way to nail the trend! I don't usually shop in Topshop, because their clothes make me feel super fat as I always have to go up 1-2 sizes. However, on this occasion I ignored the number on the label and bought the clothes that I liked, and I'm really glad I did because the tee and trousers are two of my favourite items of clothing at the moment.

I've said before that I love the dogtooth print and I really fell in love with these trousers, I'm not much of a 'smart trouser' wearer usually so it's nice to have stepped out of my comfort zone.

You can't really see the necklace that well in these pictures but it's so gorgeous, I love it! H&M is definitely one of my favourite places to buy statement necklaces. I mentioned my bargain boots in my last post but here they are again! Finally, I took a rucksack with me to Amsterdam so I didn't have to pay for luggage, I really struggled to find one that I liked but I was happy with this denim and leather number in the end. Since buying it I have noticed the Accessorize have a lovely selection of rucksacks and I never thought to look in there, so if you're after one you should definitely check their's out x
